I'd say I'd give the normal assortment of weaponry to Spartans, (ARs, DMRs, Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, SMGs, Battle Rifles, at most, a Reach grenade launcher ). The Commandos would be able to beat the Spartans, roughly 7/10 times (even giving the Spartans nearly any Mark of Armor).
